What we collect, and what we do with it.

Who we are

MK For Cosmetics sells the Peelax range from Cairo, Egypt, at mkforcosmetics.shop. If anything on this page is unclear, or you want us to act on something in it, send us a message.

When you place an order

Checkout asks for what the courier needs to reach you and what we need to confirm the order by phone:

• Your name
• Your mobile number, and a second number if you give one
• Your email, if you give one
• Governorate, area and street address
• Any delivery note you add
• What you ordered, the totals, and the language you shopped in
• The IP address the order came from, kept as a guard against fraudulent and duplicate orders

Orders are cash on delivery. We never ask for and never hold card or bank details — you pay the courier at the door.

When you message us

The contact form records your name, email, phone number if you give one, the subject you pick, your message, the language you wrote in, and the IP address it came from.

What your browser stores

The shop keeps a few things on your own device so it behaves sensibly. They stay on your device, and we cannot read them from ours:

• Your cart — so it survives a refresh
• Your language — so we do not send you back to English every visit
• Your last order reference — so the confirmation page can show it. It clears when you close the tab.

Advertising and measurement

We run ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and this site carries the Meta pixel so we can tell which ads lead to real orders and show our products again to people who looked at them. The pixel sets a cookie and tells Meta which pages you viewed here, what you added to your cart, and the value of an order, along with your IP address and basic device information.

If you would rather not have this used to target ads at you, you can turn it off in your Meta ad preferences, and Meta explains its own handling in the Meta Privacy Policy. Browser tracking protection and ad blockers also stop it, and nothing on this site breaks if you use them.

Who else sees your details

• The courier gets your name, phone number and address, because that is how the parcel reaches you.
• Hostinger hosts the site and therefore stores the order and message records on its servers.
• Meta receives the advertising data described above.

We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone else for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as business records — we need them for returns, repeat orders and our own accounts. Messages are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards. If you want yours removed sooner, ask.

What you can ask us to do

Write to us and we will act on it: get a copy of what we hold about you, correct something wrong, or have your details deleted. Ask from the phone number or email on the order so we can tell it is you. We may need to keep the bare record of a completed sale even after deleting the rest.
